SUMMER ART BUNCH, the creation of Margie Keenan and Christine Barber, has entered its seventh successful year! Margie and Christine are long time teachers from Park Avenue Christian Church Day School, who have a combined experience of over 25 years teaching young children. They both hold a masters degree in Early Childhood Development.

The philosophy of Summer Art Bunch follows a developmentally appropriate approach which addresses the needs of the whole child. The classes will be offered to children ages 3 through 5 at Park Avenue Christian Church.* Young artists study a new artist each week and discover their creativity through visual and performing arts. Projects reflect creative themes in art, drama, music, and creative movement. The mornings include free play during arrival time, snack time, story time, and outdoor water play on the rooftop playground. The children also have the opportunity to experience a music teacher and a yoga instructor as a weekly part of the curriculum. The goal of Summer Art Bunch is to have fun and learn in a stimulating and safe environment!

Sessions will run for six weeks with the option of signing up on a weekly basis. Summer Art Bunch will be held Monday through Friday, from 9:00 – 12:00.
